SWTOR Flashpoints Guide: The Fastest Way To Learn All Boss Tactics

To avoid making a fool of yourself at a critical point in SWTOR while fighting a boss or certain tough trash monsters, you need to know exactly how they will attack you or your party. That takes a lot of practice on that particular hotspot, or… you can quickly learn everything you need to do with a SWTOR hotspot guide.

That’s what I did, and before long I was the one telling the other party members what to do, so we could take down all the bosses without too much trouble.

The reason I’m writing this article is to tell everyone about the usefulness of the SWTOR hotspot guide I’ve been working with, and also to share some tips on tactics in one of the SWTOR hotspots of the end game: the Directive 7.

Well, let’s see…

How can a SWTOR Flashpoints guide help you?

1. SWTOR flashpoints are the same as the instanced dungeons you can find in other MMO games. At each critical point, you’ll need to group up with other players and work as a team to accomplish certain objectives and defeat at least a few bosses in the process.

Now, if you don’t know what to do in a certain boss encounter, the whole party can die because of your mistake. That really sucks and can end with you getting kicked out of the party. A SWTOR flashpoints guide will tell you everything you need to know about the tactics of each flashpoints boss, with a player approach, and you will fully understand how to play your part, and moreover, how everyone else should play that part, so that everything goes smooth as silk, no wipes.

2. To get the best out of your character at a critical point, you need a specific talent structure. Usually that differs a lot from a PvP or leveling build. A SWTOR hotspot guide will tell you how to spec your character to fulfill her role to the fullest at any hotspot.

3. Last but not least, to get optimal and consistent DPS, secure the necessary threat (tanks), and keep everyone alive (healers), you’ll need to follow a certain rotation, depending on your build. Needless to say, a SWTOR hotspot guide has that covered as well.

Now, like I said, the hotspot guide I’ve been working with has taught me all about each and every encounter in Star Wars: The Old Republic. So, here are some tips for Directive 7.

Guideline 7 Tactics and Tips

Directive 7 is a critical point where you must defeat a certain faction of droids who have developed technology that can lead to the destruction of both the Republic and the Empire. In other words, this critical point is for both SWTOR factions.

1. The first major encounter in this instance of SWTOR involves a battle against three assassin droids. If you don’t know what to do here, you may end up killing yourself. Two of the droids will raise energy shields. The yellow shield means damage reflection – DON’T HIT THAT ONE! The blue shield means damage absorption – basically you can’t damage that droid. All three droids will exchange shields with each other, so it’s important to only attack the one without a shield.

2. The Interrogator boss at this critical point also has a few tricks up his sleeve. The most important aspect of the fight is that he will clone one of the party members. The clone should be killed immediately, because if you end up with multiple clones on the loose, it’s probably going to be a wipe. It’s best for the tank to get the clone closer to the main boss, so that AoE effects affect both the boss and the clone.

3. The final boss fight in Directive 7 is quite tedious. There are three phases, the first two phases will repeat once. Generally all you have to do is hide from a turret when it’s up, avoid AoE’s from the ground target, avoid getting under droids in the air.

Anyway, if you want to learn each and every tactic in SWTOR operations and flashpoints, in the shortest possible time, and also how to play your class to the maximum in each flashpoint, the best solution is to follow a SWTOR flashpoints guide.
