Valentine’s Day: how can you make the biggest day of love extra romantic?

How do you create the most romantic day for you and your beloved? Remember first what romance is. It’s not something that’s reserved for just the romantics among us, or the starving florists. It is simply that you do something for your loved one that you know they will appreciate, and that will show them that you know them and that you will do anything to make them have a good time.

I’m happy to help a little along the way. Here are some of my best tips:

Find out what your boyfriend thinks is romantic. There’s little reason to put rose petals all over your bed if you just have an allergy attack and think it’s cheesy…

Prepare the day. Although it’s sweet to improvise, take a little time to get the day right. Remember that it can be hard to get seats at the movie theater or restaurant you like on a day like this, if you want to ask him out.

Take turns pampering each other. So both get the pleasure of giving and receiving. If they both make plans for Valentine’s Day, then each individual’s plans collapse and end in painful chaos.

20 romantic ideas that you can do for your boyfriend on Valentine’s Day:

  1. Turn off the TV and PC, gently pull the phone cord, and turn off the mobile phones. Light lots of candles, order your favorite takeout, and have a picnic in the bedroom.
  2. Take him to the movies and see a movie he would like to see. Remember to reserve seats in the kissing row, so you can kiss during the movie.
  3. Show her your love, make love to her.
  4. Give her an erotic massage.
  5. Take a bath together. An aromatic bath is always super romantic. If you don’t have a bathtub, shower together and wash with scented oils or soaps. Everywhere, of course.
  6. Tell him why you love him and why he is a wonderful person. You don’t necessarily have to write it on a Valentine’s card. Use an online card, SMS or just say it in person.
  7. Check into the hotel, even if it’s just a normal day. Then you spend a night of love in an unknown bed.
  8. Give him a gift that he really wants. Choose something personal, like an iPod on which you’ve saved “Your” songs. Tickets to a concert with his favorite band, a framed photo of you that he can keep on his desk.
  9. Meet one of his sexual fantasies.
  10. Create a romantic scavenger hunt, where you have to search the house for little romantic notes so you really have to speculate on exactly what will happen. Make sure it ends up in your favorite restaurant or bedroom, depending on what you want.
  11. Make him an irresistible and erotic meal.
  12. Dress in something you know will turn him on.
  13. Open a bottle of champagne and toast to your love.
  14. Take a romantic walk in the moonlight.
  15. Wash your car or give your bike a general overhaul. Just do him a favor that says you love him.
  16. Talk to him and let him talk. Plus, even if it means you have to listen to football talk the rest of the night.
  17. Valentine’s Day doesn’t necessarily have to be a romantic candlelight dinner. Take him out for a drink or two at a delicious bar.
  18. Pack a packed lunch for him and attach a written note describing all the bad things to do with him when the night comes.
  19. Make a photo album for him with photos of your time together and look at it together. Old memories of the past can make the toughest cynic soft at heart.
  20. Play strip poker, or anything that makes you laugh together or get closer.

Good luck with your day!
