Email Marketing Permission – How to Pre-Populate CPA Offers with Aweber

This article will discuss an easy strategy to generate profit while building a large list of subscribers using permissioned email marketing with Aweber.

The basic strategy is to create a niche squeeze page like we did in previous courses, then we’ll insert the Aweber form that will redirect the subscriber to a pre-filled CPA offer.

Does it look like this:

Visitor > Fills out the Aweber form > is redirected to the pre-filled CPA form > clicks continue = $$$ plus a potential new subscriber.

Email marketing permission simply means that once the user enters their email in my Aweber form, they will have to check their email to confirm that they want to subscribe to my list. This prevents a lot of problems in the future once we have created a huge list of millions. For example, there will be far fewer SPAM complaints as long as I deliver what I promised my list.

Now the way I benefit is to set up the form on my landing page to redirect to the CPA ‘send email’ offer and pre-populate it with the person’s email so I don’t have to re-enter their email, they just have to click continue and I get paid.

I checked with my affiliate managers and asked for a list of good email send offers that allow prepop and got the code from them to put it in the Aweber form. It’s simple, and the example I’ll use is Neverblue’s offer of a free $500 Walmart gift card.

Step 1:

Set up the list details and then create the form in your Aweber account.

Step 2:

In the form settings, change the “thank you page” to a custom page, then enter the affiliate link to the offer and add a code at the end. The code will differ for most networks and offers, so you may need to contact your affiliate manager for instructions. Here is the URL I use to use Aweber to display my neverblue offer:

http://www.[affiliatelink].com&email={!email}

&email= is the Neverblue part of the code and {!email} is the part that tells Aweber to insert the email address into that URL. So now when the user completes their email on my capture page they will click confirm and the thank you page will be an offer from Neverblue for a free $500 gift card that all the user has to do is click continue, since your email is already set. on the form, and they will pay me.

Email submissions usually pay around $1, but the problem is that you can create your Aweber form to collect whatever information you want. So if you have a primary CPA offer that requires name, email, and address, you can simply use the same strategy to pre-populate that offer, which will likely lead to more profit.

All you will need to do is add the appropriate code to the end of the affiliate URL and put it in the custom thank you page field in your Aweber form settings.

Getting people to sign up for email marketing with permission

The email marketing permission component of this strategy is where it gets tricky. You need to design your landing page to entice the person to not only proceed to get the free gift card, but also check their email to confirm that they want to sign up. How do you do that?

Well, this requires a lot of testing, but here’s a basic strategy…

Your landing page should offer the user something very attractive for free that they will receive in their email inbox. That should be the main focus of your landing page. Then your secondary enticing offer will be the free $500 gift card. This will definitely require testing depending on your offering, but you could say something like:

Get (something) free by entering your proper email below so we can send it to you now

“If you enter your email today, you’ll also get access to an additional $500 Walmart gift card!”

Simply enter your email below, click continue on the next page to access the $500 gift card, then check your email to get your free (something).

Well, I hope this helps define what prepop can do for you, and when used with email marketing permission, this strategy can generate profits, while building an extremely valuable list of subscribers!

The next course will talk about how to get thousands of visitors to your landing page using free and paid traffic and how to get extremely cheap traffic that signs up for your list…
